This piece was commissioned and performed by the Chebucto Symphony  Orchestra for their annual children's concert in 2014 in Halifax, Nova  Scotia, Canada.                The narrator tells the story of a prince in a land in which music has  special powers. The young prince falls into an enchanted sleep, and the magic  required to wake him that can only be created when all the sections of the  orchestra put their rivalries behind them and work together to save their  prince.
