The beauty of the area of New York state for which this piece is named is captured brilliantly in this stunning work by Robert W. Smith!  A decidedly nostalgic feel permeates the piece, beginning with the serene, crystalline opening section depicting dawn at the lake.  After an invigorating interlude, a most unexpected nickelodeon effect is achieved, which just adds charm and takes the listener on a delicious musical journey back in time.  Melodic percussion and keyboard parts are elemental to an effective performance.  Very highly recommended!
