Chop Busters 24 Etudes for Trumpet in Bb/C or Cornet

Welcome to the Chop Buster journey! These 24 etudes are written to challenge your breath control, range, endurance, flexibility, and musical imagination throughout the keys. There are 12 lyrical and 12 articulate etudes to work your technical and lyrical playing skills. Dynamics, breath marks, crescendo, and diminuendo markings have been deliberately omitted for you to establish on your own. Diligent practice will bear great fruit for you. Using a metronome and/or a cell phone to both challenge and record yourself will help you achieve higher levels of musical competence. To supercharge your musical workout even further, transpose these etudes up and down, and add your own creative variations and ornaments to make them more personal and exciting.
