Christ is Made the Sure Foundation

Commissioned by Peachtree Road United Methodist Church (Atlanta, Georgia) in celebration of the 2002 consecration of its sanctuary, this lively festival anthem by David Ashley White has an optional part for children's choir and for congregation, who can join in the very end in a metrically normalized version of the main melody that has been presented several times by the choir. A very effective anthem for festive occasions, particularly those celebrating building.
