The events of Christ's passion are presented in a kind of musical tableau in this dark, brooding anthem that weaves a veil of sorrow as we visit the scene at Golgotha. It is only at the end that we are reminded that this suffering servant was indeed the Son of God and in his death God's will was fulfilled.  A true testament of grace during Holy Week.
