Classic carols and beautiful new original songs are woven together in four suites to create a work that is perfect for Advent, Christmas and Epiphany. Flexible in its design, Christmas Canticles can be performed as an entire 35-40 minute cantata complete with narration. Or, each suite (approximately 5-8 minutes each) may be performed as a separate, extended anthem. The work as a whole is also an appropriate centerpiece for hanging-of-the-greens or services of lessons and carols.
