Petit Papillon is a learning piece for youth strings, disguised as a pleasent 3 1/2 minute pastoral. The  musicians will  be working with certain "two things at once" challenges. For instance, there is frequent use of split sections and double-stopped fingerings.  In naming the piece, I was reminded of a butterfly flittering about, exploring its colorful world.

    Suite for piano was composed in a mid-twentieth century discipline in which
  some elements of classical form underpin other elements of tonal centricity.
  You may even feel you have stumbled into a jazz piece, and if you think this
