Cielito Lindo

While the literal translation of the title means "lovely little sky," the word cielito is used as a term of endearment to mean "sweetheart." Written in 1882, this has been played and sung by many different singers and groups all over the world and has become a staple of the mariachi repertoire. This arrangement can be performed with or without the vocal parts, as the vocals are doubled in the violins and trumpets.
