Classical Contest Solos

In selecting the contents for these collections, careful consideration was given to various state vocal contest lists. For each selection, there are historical notes and/or notes concerning the song. Each collection has 10 selections, about half of which are in English. Translations are provided for those not in English, and interpretive suggestons are available for each. The CD has both a full performance track and an accompaniment track for each selection. As a bonus, there is also a pronunciation track for the foreign language songs. This is a collection no school should be without! Each song has stood the test of time and has been used on numerous state contest lists.
