Clef Studies for the Trombonist

Dr. Wade Goodwin has created a new clef study book for Trombonists comprised of the Bordogni/Rochut etudes. The Bordogni/Rochut etudes have been a major fixture in the Trombone world for over 65 years, and now Dr. Wade Goodwin's compilation of Clef Studies for the Trombonist from Melodious Etudes Volume 1 (1-30) gives trombonists a way to easily practice clefs by presenting etudes 1-30 in the three major clefs: bass, tenor and alto.

 

The learning curve is much faster, more enjoyable and less frustrating because performers can learn their clefs by playing familiar melodies. All etudes in the three clefs use the same pitches.

 

Appropriate for intermediate to advanced performers. These etudes are also valuable to Bass Trombonists who will have to learn to navigate tenor and alto clefs for composers such as Prokofiev and Shostakovich.
