Colossus

A medium advanced ensemble piece written for solo timpanist, on five drums, and seven other percussionists with most playing multi percussion setups.  Scored for all normal concert band percussion instruments, this seven and a half minute composition also incorporates a brake drum and 4.5 octave marimba (low E).  A past third place winner of the Percussive Arts Society composition contest, this is a great way to feature an aspiring percussionist/timpanist.
