Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus

Using the hymn tune Restoration, Donald McCullough has fashioned a sturdy choral anthem with  a "Sacred Harp" feel.  Open chords in the accompaniment and the effective use of just four handbells bring the work to an effective climax on the text "Raise us to your glorious throne."  Triumphant!
