Arthur Sullivan's great hymntune St. Kevin enjoys new life in this festive arrangement for handbells with optional handchimes and optional two trumpets. The fanfare-like introduction leads to a strong presentation of the tune in E-flat major. Stanza two is a quieter appearance of the tune in g-flat major played by handchimes with a decorated handbell accompaniment. Trumpet exclamations highlight the slower and grander 3rd stanza as the piece concludes with all the grandeur which is part of Easter.
