Contra-Diccion

For 2 violas.  First Edition.  Two violas face each other, each player positioned at the end of the auditorium or stage with the audience seated between.  Each of the three movements builds up a spatial and musical dialogue using words from an overall sonority specific to each player.  Written for and dedicated to Konrad von Coelin and Christoph Rabbels.  Duration: ca. 11'.  Two looseleaf, oversized performance scores, 7 p.
