Crank It Up

Based on a twelve-bar blues and built on syncopated melodic ideas that build in intensity when layered on top of each other, Crank It Up is a riff-based swing chart designed for young jazzers. With a cool bass line, a tuneful melody, call and response techniques, and suggested solos, this chart at the easiest level has it all!  It's also playable with optional reduced or expanded instrumentations, includes fully notated rhythm section parts, and includes an optional part for vibes. Teaching opportunites abound!
