Crazy Rhythm

Here's Benny Carter's swinging arrangement of the standard Crazy Rhythm written and recorded in 1961 for his Further Definitions album. Now in print for the first time, this chart, unlike most of Carter's other sax ensemble arrangements, was written for two alto saxophones and two tenor saxophones plus rhythm section. In addition to the great ensemble writing, there's an open solo section.
