Pure inspiration! This uplifting treatment of Diademata uses the foundational hymn accompanied by John Stanley's Trumpet Voluntary. With solo trumpet and the arranger's craftsmanship, the setting moves seamlessly from one melody to the other, finishing with a buoyancy and lift that is most satisfying. The dotted-eighth-sixteenth pattern is predominant and will take practice but the end result is worth every minute spent in rehearsal.
