This harmonic system introduces a new theoretical and practical approach to the topic by offering an easy to understand system that provides straight-forward, practical solutions. Unlike other systems on the same subject, it's made up of chords formed on the basis of one bass note, plus a perfect major chord. Using this extraordinarily simple concept, the major and minor modes, seventh chord substitutions, other substitutions, and inversions of perfect major chords can be determined.
