Here's an outstanding baroque-style solo feature for two violins and viola with string orchestra. This work is from an inner movement of a Handel Concerto and uses bird-call sounds to great effect. The first solo violin creates the "cuckoo"' sound and is soon answered by the second solo violin and the viola before the return of the orchestra. The same idea repeats with the even more beautiful and intense song of the "nightingale" which leads to the dramatic finish. Very well done!
