Dance of the Tumblers

Playfully lively and fast paced, this arrangement from The Snow Maiden, requires lightness, buoyancy and ensemble awareness from its performers. Written for 13 medium to advanced players with most mallet parts designed for two mallets. Scored for bells, xylophone, chimes, two vibes, two 4.3 marimbas, two four octave marimbas, timpani, snare drum small and large cymbals, bass drum, triangle, gong and tambourine. At three minutes in length, this 2/4 metered feature throughout, is good, happy and fun for all involved.
