Dancing in Memory's Stream

In this joyous and upbeat SSA piece, Bob Chilcott sets a text by Delphine Chalmers, full of vivid imagery of childhood memories and with a compelling refrain: "Though the  years may make us strangers, our voices set the ripples dancing in memory's stream." Alternation between 4/4 and 7/8 provides a spirited offbeat feel, supported by piano accompaniment. The simple melodic lines and long unison passages will appeal to school or children's choirs.
