Dancing Snowflakes

An arrangement for concert band based on Amy Beach's Minuet from "Children's Album, Op. 36" for piano. In keeping with the music-box-like quality of the original melody and harmony, this cheerful theme has been reimagined as a winter-themed selection with the addition of percussion such as sleigh bells, triangle, wind chimes, and tambourine to bring out the light playfulness of childhood coupled with a little wintery magic.
