Danzas Festivas

This festive suite of original songs captures the style and spirit of three traditional Spanish and Latin American dances. First, Mi Tiplecito – a happy bambuco from Colombia. This song uses strummed pizzicato to emulate the tiple, a small Columbian guitar. Next, La Danzonera is a slow and mysterious danzon found in Mexico and Cuba. Finally, Ole Chulapa is a fiery pasodoble from Spain that gives the low strings prominent melodies. Additional percussion instruments add flair to this bright and colorful celebration of music.
