Dark Matter

This exciting new work for beginning strings uses the first six notes of the D major scale and simple rhythms to introduce concepts such as the accent, staccato, and dynamics. Advancing ensembles can really dig into the details and make serious music, and develop bow lifts. You can really hear my love of rock and metal in this piece. With an infectious melody and exciting bass line, this is one your students will be sure to ask to play again and again!
