Darklands Legends

This musical setting paints a portrait of three characters that live in an imaginary world. The first movement represents Prince Loon, the many-faced prince whose changing features and moods are heard in the varied and contrasting music. The solemn music of movement 2 describes the grim ruins of an old church that guards a deep, dark secret. A frantic masquerade of the evil queen concludes the work, growing faster and faster as it leads to a fierce and thrilling finish.
