Dear World

Elementary school students were asked to write letters answering the question, “What would you like to tell the earth?” in a collaborative project with composition students from Louisiana State University. Three letters were chosen and set by three different student composers in this set of songs that powerfully and poignantly offers their response. The first song, I Will Bless You, is accompanied, while the remaining two, There Can Be No Numbers and To Fly a Plane, are for a cappella divisi choir.
