Dixit Maria

This work opens with a choral fanfare, setting a tone of grandeur, followed by a playful melody which features interjections of exaltation, and then moves to a lyrical tune through which singers may take the opportunity to showcase attention to tone and phrasing. After transitioning back to the playful melody, the piece ends in a triumphant exclamation. With its lovely harmonies and wonderful colors, this work will bring joy to performers and audiences alike.
