Doctor Jazz

Based on the version from the musical "Jelly's Last Jam" celebrating the life of Jelly Roll Morton, this hidden gem is one of the earliest examples of New Orleans jazz. Not only does it provide a great teaching opportunity for your students to learn about the genre, but this fantastic arrangement gives you a chance to feature a duet between a vocal soloist and a muted trumpet, setting the stage for a burst of enthusiastic, electrifying music that only jazz can deliver!

A complete digital bundle is also available that includes all the voicings, instrumental parts and an accompaniment track, and part-dominant tracks.
