Don't Get Excited!

There's great sectional dialogue in this laid-back swinger that presents a solid, blues groove!  It opens with the rhythm section and a nice trombone section soli and then hands the soli off to the saxes with trombone backgrounds.  The written or ad lib solos are for first tenor and first alto saxophones.  There's also a highly effective a cappella, stop-time section before the tune returns to the full band with a roaring shout chorus.  This is really a "feel good" chart! Highly recommended!
