This beautiful ballad uses a subtle even-eighth rhythm and features tenor sax on the melody and improvised solo. A soloist with a beautiful fat sound and good improvisational skills is a must for making the chart sound good. The ending is dramatic and powerful, with the lead trumpet ending on a written high E. Good intonation by the entire band is important.
