Two minutes of sincere emotional prayer from Psalm Seven, set for soprano and altos to share the text of lamenting with hope for deliverance from the lions that chase those who have faith. The seriousness of the text is offset by the mellow flute/bassoon or violin/cello obbligato lines. Perfect for a Good Friday or Lent service or a time of remembrance.
