This arrangement brings out both the tender and brilliance timbres that a trumpet trio can provide. Beginning as a gentle solo over a drone, the piece morphs into a powerful climax that will serve as a spectacular prelude to a church service. Playing level is Advanced-Intermediate and the range spans from a low G in the 2nd and 3rd parts to a high C ( above the staff) in the first part.
