Dream Land

This Christina Rossetti text mystically describes death as a dreamlike state. This leaves composer Richard Burchard an excellent palate for an impressive musical composition. His music is moving, ethereal and thoughtful. Adding an oboe obbligato above the a cappella choir and soprano soloists adds color and texture. Musically compelling and unique.
