Dream Your Dream

Commissioned for the choirs of Kingswood Oxford, this piece is themed around motivating yourself to achieve your dreams. The text reminds us that nothing is achieved on its own ("songs don't sing, books don't write, stories don't tell, and heights don't reach themselves... but we do.") and that if we want these things to continue to be a part of the human experience, we must make them happen, otherwise "all we have is empty canvas and empty pages, empty fields and empty stages". This is a lively and infectious tune that is perfect for middle school or high school choirs.
