Easter Trilogy

Three distinctive sections (Preparation, Prayer and Promise) are woven together with compelling narrative to create a moving work for SATB choir, congregation, and narrators. Beloved Easter hymns, classic masterworks and timeless new songs are included, with optional orchestrations to heighten the effect and presentation. Preparation begins the Lenten journey and in song moves from the road to Easter, to communion with selections such as Bread Of The World and When Jesus Wept. In Prayer, we hear When I Survey The Wondrous Cross and others such as 'Tis Finished! The Messiah Dies. The final section, Promise gives us the marvelous promise of the Second Coming and the Easter hymn Christ The Lord Is Risen Today. Performance time approximately 26 minutes.
