"A Madrigal of Time", by Spencer Bambrick, is inspired by
  Shakespeare's Sonnet 60 which both laments and rages against the relentless
  motion of time. The text, sung by a trio, is rhythmic and lilting like the
  ocean, while the cello both supports and crashes against the sung melody.

In "Clocks", The contrary motion and back-and-forth nature of
  the parts in each hand are reminiscent of clocks ticking. Specifically, the
  idea of walking into the home of a clockmaker and being surrounded by the
  ticking of various clocks. The piece starts slow, as if only one ticking
  sound is heard, then by the middle of the piece all of the bells and chimes
  are ringing, as all of the clocks come to live. Then, slowly, they fade out
  again until we are left with just the single timepiece.

"Oregon Breakers", by Spencer Bambrick, was inspired by the
  picturesque Oregon Coast during the stormy season.  The turbulent beauty of the coast can be
  related to the life of a single wave  rolling into existence, cresting in a
  moment of frozen time, and then breaking and receding back into the ocean.

String Quartet No. 1, by June Violet Aino, was written for the group
  Cuatro Puntos and was partially premiered with the Women's Composer Festival
  of Hartford in April 2018.
