El Desembre Congelat

Painting the scene of a cold and windy December night and the birth of the Christ-child, or "Rose," this Catalonian carol is set for young male voices using first the Catalan language, then English. Supported by a flowing piano accompaniment, the melody is shared by both parts and joined by a simple descant where the option of a cappella singing is given.
