Elegiac Poem

Elegiac Poem for String Orchestra was written in 2007 by the well-known Russian composer Gennadi Chernov. The inspiration for its creation was a bright, unforgettable impression from listening to a concert of the famous, ingenious Adagio for Strings, Op. 11 by the classic American composer Samuel Barber. The sound of this orchestra piece, with its amazing expressiveness and flexibility of extraordinary depth and expression, affected the soup of the listener to the effect that the composer wanted to recreate this impression in Elegiac Poem for string instruments.
