This delightful beginning band arrangement tells a story. Some squirrels are walking along in the woods when they come to a road. They try to cross, but a car comes along. As it approaches they scream and then they run frantically trying to get away, finally running into the woods. You can hear each part of the story with the music. The kids will love it. It's a delightful addition to any concert.

Flute Duet

This is a trio or quartet version of my Flute Ensemble with the same name.  It's a little easier than the larger version.  It still has the same intro and interlude feeling like a rain shower where it starts as a whole note, then half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes, and at the end it ends in reverse til there's only a single whole note.  Its songs include Showers of Blessing, Make Me a Blessing, and Count Your Blessings.

Flute Quartet

A very nice arrangement for alto sax trio.  It combines "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come" with "Now Thank We All Our God."  The intro is the same as the ending so it ties it all together very nicely.  Part 3 can also be played by tenor sax.

A nice rhythmic arrangement for flute quartet.  The 2nd verse modulates to a minor key then back to major at the refrain.  I also arranged this for clarinet and alto sax so it can be played with different combinations of instruments.

A lovely, moving arrangement for clarinet solo.  I originally arranged this for solo penny whistle, but not many people play penny whistle and I liked it so much that I changed the key and added piano so more people can play it.  Piano is not my forte, so I just used the hymnbook for the accompaniment.  It can be played with or without accompaniment.

Solo Unaccompanied

Looking for a way to feature your recorder class with your beginning band?  This arrangement is a great way to do it.  It starts off with just the recorders playing the melody.  Then the band joins in with chords underneath the recorder melody with the trumpets joining the melody and the flutes having an obligato part.  Then we change to 3/4 time with the woodwinds joining the recorders with the melody and the brass having an oom pah part.  Finally, the percussion section is featured with a syncopated beat with the trumpets and flutes playing a syncopated melody, the bass ports playing whole notes and the rest of the band join the recorders in accented chords.
