Emperor in the Countryside

This medley of themes from Beethoven's Emperor concerto and his Pastorale symphony is wonderfully arranged to be accessible to young string orchestras. The Emperor concerto is in the more comfortable key of C major and the Pastorale is set in the key of G. With many of the original voicings intact, this work is an excellent opportunity to introduce young players to essential classic literature!
