Essex Service (Two-part version, SA or TB)

The Essex Service (Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis) is a rich and colourful setting of the traditional text, suitable for Evensong. This is the version for voices in two parts (SA or TB) and organ – a version for voices in four parts (SATB) and organ is also available. The recording here is of the four-part version, though the music in the scrolling score is of this two-part version.
