Evening Gale

Each movement of this work describes aspects of the night in a different location, utilizing the poetry of Carl Sandburg, Robert Frost, and Joaquin Miller. The music portrays the artistic intention of each poem while also illustrating sounds of the locations through instruments and voice. This 18 minute theatrical work envelops the listener, taking the audience around the globe at night.
