Evening Light

Evening Light is an 8-BellHandbell arrangement of the hymn tune ST CLEMENT utilizing bells G5-G6 by Lauran Delancy. It may be rung with two people in 4-in-Hand or four people in a small ensemble with 2 bells each. This arrangement highlights the lilting give and take of the melody with a quiet peace. This piece is available in an alternate key for those who prefer to play the piece with more standard handbell assignment positions (spaces in the left hand and lines in the right hand) under the title Evening Light (in Bb). Common hymn titles associated with this tune are: O Light Whose Splendor, and The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, Is Ended.
