In general relativity, an event horizon is a boundary surrounding a black hole from which light emitted from inside the horizon can never reach an observer on the outside, and anything that passes through the horizon from the observerʹs side is never seen again. The initial inspiration for this work was bursts of instrumental color in the form of harmonic clusters; it progressed to the idea of traveling in space toward a supernova, reflecting on the beauty of the sun, planets, and cosmic atmosphere viewed during the journey.
