This rhythmic, lighthearted arrangement of the tune MADRID is simply fun to ring and hear. The majority of the piece is easy to learn, with only a few positions playing some sixteenth notes, and a short section of syncopated rhythms. This accessible arrangement is usable throughout the year.

Take your listeners on a journey through time with this arrangement of the theme song to the popular TV show Outlander. This 19th-century Scottish folk song tells the story of a young lad or lass on a journey far from home. Accompanied by handbells, the additional parts (tenor and alto or viola and cello duet) are not optional, but the words may be substituted with the hymn Spirit of God, Unseen as the Wind when used in worship settings. Alternatively, strings may be substituted for the voice parts.

Written for Concordia University Nebraska, it was inspired by the idea that people can be catalysts for change, especially college students. Rhythmic intricacy, metric changes, and lots of techniques will challenge your ringers and make this a favorite concert piece for all. Optional 2-7 octave handchimes, 3 octave Silver Melody Bells.

Catalyst

This haunting tune by Elisha West translates well to handbells. Using the theme of harvest, this piece reflects the second coming as told in Revelation in a dramatic way. Not difficult to learn, this arrangement will come together quickly and can provide an easy-to-learn piece that any ensemble can use for worship or concert. Optional handchimes (2-3 octaves.)
