Excellent Recorder Adventure

The first song in this collection, BAGga Lagga Whack Whack, is styled like a 50s shuffle and has the option of adding Boomwhackers. An Olde English Carol provides an authentic-sounding 18th century accompaniment, and When the Saints Go Marching In allows students who can play G, A, B, C, and D to jam with the recorded Dixieland band. When Johnny Comes Marching Home is set in 3/4 time and is accompanied by a small orchestra of strings, muted brass, and percussion. Finally, Return of the Clonebots features a funky mechanical groove with recorded mechanical and real drums, strings, and synthesizers. These progressive tunes provide a solid learning experience while exposing students to different musical styles.
