Fanfare and Furiosity

Here's a rewarding composition that will be a welcome addition to any program.  It begins with a stately fanfare introduction that leads directly to the appropriately titled furious section; this features a fast tempo and independent yet playable melodic lines that create a pulsating musical landscape.  Followed by an adagio passage the furious opening returns leading to an intense ending.  Impressive but not difficult, it's a perfect concert or contest opener for mid-level bands.
