The piece exercises single-alternating, single-independent, double-verticals, and plenty of accent patterns and syncopation while keeping a flowing, musical line throughout. Fantasy provides both a technical and musical challenge with this piece, and while there are lighter moments there are several passages (especially the ending) that provide opportunities to really show off with dramatic flair.
