Felsenheim & The Boa

Inspired by Johann Wyss's book, Swiss Family Robinson, Felsenheim & The Boa describes the serenity of the Robinsons' grotto and the attack of the giant anaconda. This song is part of a larger collection by piano composer Preston Atwood called Fusing Canons. Fusing Canons includes fifteen original piano compositions, all of which stem from inspirations (themes; characters; scenes) from timeless literature in the Western canon. The fusion of song and literature is a deliberate attempt to transform the True, Good, and Beautiful into melodies that motivate listeners to pick up a good book and let it change them. The playing level of the songs ranges between intermediate and advanced.
