Festival Partita on Now Thank We All Our God

Composed in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Concordia Publishing House, this three-movement partita by John A. Behnke is a great addition to the organ repertoire. Prelude features the melody in a straightforward style. Aria highlights the text, "blessed peace" with the addition of the tune DONA NOBIS PACEM. The final movement, Fugue, dances its way through F major and D minor and finishes in grand fashion in F major. Not just for Thanksgiving.
